General Information Please note that space is limited to about 800 participants. If the number of applications exceeds the space available, the Organizers will use Society membership, abstract submission, and registration date as criteria for selection of applications. The information provided on the Principal Investigators Form to guide decisions regarding attendance. The P.I. Form will also be used to prioritize abstracts for oral presentation. Electronic Submission of Abstracts is Required To submit an abstract, you must first register at the Banff Centre and get your confirmation number. Please format your abstract using a word processor according to the format instructions found on the Abstract Submission Site. You will upload the formatted page after entering information for the abstract database. Your abstract will be printed exactly as it appears in your file. Please carefully follow the detailed instructions for formatting your abstract, these instructions can be found on the Abstract Submission Site: http://www.webstracts.com/cgi-bin/pi.cgi?t:rna2001/index.html IMPORTANT: Please follow the instructions to authors listed on the Abstract Submission Site. ABSTRACT BOOK: The RNA 2001 abstract book will be distributed at the meeting, and will NOT be mailed to participants. However, all abstracts will be posted on the web site on Tuesday, May 22, 2001, a week before the start of the meeting. Abstract titles and authors will be posted on the meeting web site about two weeks prior to the meeting, once the oral abstracts have been selected. Principal Investigator Form All principal investigators named on abstracts must submit a completed Principal Investigator Form, which is available on the Abstract Submission Site. The P.I. form is designed to assist the Organizing Committee in choosing platform presentations when multiple abstracts are submitted from a single laboratory.
